Seekins opinions?

Thanks for the comments. Yes, there are a few height adjustments for the cheek piece. The arca mount is solid. Sits firmly in my arca head on the tripod. The folding mechanism is beastly. Very pleased with it. Not flimsy at all. The rifle is quite deceiving due to its smaller size and minimal weight. When I first handled it, felt like it was fake or a toy replica. But when you starting poking around all the materials, it is built like a tank. Same with the trigger guard.

Here's the cheek piece adjustment from the manual. BTW, the manual is only ~ 13 pages if I recall. A few sentences and a picture on each page. About as simple as it gets.

I’m glad you posted about the cheek comb adjusted I had questions about the adjustments. I’m even more stoked for mine when ever it shows up hopefully next couple of weeks. I’m waiting to measure mine folded I really want to put it a very compact hard case.

Thanks for the info, and what a nice rifle. I have a couple questions.
Does it have any adjustment, height or angle, at the cheek riser?
What do you think of the little arca mount in front of the mag?
Folding mechanism seems robust?

I was seriously considering pre-ordering one, but decided I didn't want to wait so long. They also did mention about making this chassis for a Tikka, so that's potentially another option for us after they catch up to existing rifle demand. EuroOptic shows that chassis price to be about $1k, and it appears to check a lot of boxes for me.
Did Seekins say they were going to make this chassis for tikka? If so that would be exciting for tikka folks but frustrating for those of us who have older Seekins models that this won’t fit.

Yes it was stated that they EVENTUALLY will make the chassis for a tikka that can be purchased.

My last time in scheels I doddled with some of the havaks on the rack. The first Element m3 i picked up and racked the bolt on the bolt slid right out the back of the action😂 Bolt release button was not pressed, it just had something faulty with the bolt or bolt stop and came out of the action. Repeated after putting the bolt back in. Not a good look. Another sign to me to avoid the element models.

It does seem they toned down the palm swell a bit on the stocks. I was a fan of the PH2 stocks but i like the grip better yet on these.

I picked up my PH3 22” in 7prc today. After owning the element and selling to a friend, I can say that the changes they’ve made make the rifle nicer. The cheek piece riser is very nice and worth the extra weight in my opinion. The bolt throw is super easy and even on lubricated it’s very smooth compared to my element.

I’m not going to hand load for this one right off the bat because I wanna make sure I can get factory ammo that performs well so I always have an option to just get ammo
