Sorry I meant degreasing yes. I also never never use lock tight. No need to so far. And any rifle that needs it deserves to be questioned IMO.
is this ^ a reference to the action screws getting loose? I recall a report of an early model havak or 2 having barrels that were loose, as in not torqued on and would spin with a twist of the wrist.Yes I have often. Very inconsistent and eventually my barrel starts wobbling off the stock
Yes I'm referring my ph3's action screws coming loose to the point where the barrel / action will literary wobble of the stock at around 100 rounds fired or so. Unknown to me when the screws start loosening to affect accuracy. I'm not about to waste anymore time or components on it. Seekins is building me a new one with a different barrel length and I'm sending this one back. Praying its the end of it.I dont know enough to agree or disagree. I've never had an issue with action screws loosening other than that one custom rifle where the builder assembled it with an action screw that only engaged one thread.. But ive also lock-tited and torqued everything to 50+ in/lb for quite a while.
