I ordered a SO tipi and stove this week, but I have wanted one for years. I understand the stoves are too small to last the whole night so I have been looking online to see what people have done to make them burn as long as possible. I was wondering if it would be a dumb idea to scavange a propane burner from an old bbq to put inside and run off a bbq propane tank for the nights I am out with the gf and dogs sleeping next to the truck. Seems like it would be easy to snake a fuel line through the bottom vent to the burner and just leave it on low for the night. Anything Im not seeing with this setup?
