Seek Outside Silvertip vs. LBO and Stove questions

Hi. I stumbled upon this forum a couple weeks ago when i was looking for a new backpack. That's the first time i heard about SeekOutside. I just sold my MLD Duomid which i want to exchange with a hot tent but still struggling to decide between the Silvertip and the LBO. I like the design of the Silvertip a lot because it looks like the perfect one man shelter to me. I don't really need the modularity of the LBO but on the other hand the LBO+Vestibule offers more room at the same weight as the ST, especially when run with a stove. I am 5'9", so i could sleep in the base and there would be tons of room between me and the stove in the Vestibule, which i quite like. The ST is more cramped and there is not as much space between my sleeping bag and the stove. On the other side the ST would be even better in bad weather and the smaller footprint makes it easier to find a spot to pitch the tent. Have some of you used both with a stove and can give me advice? Some ST owners seem not to be big fan's of the top ventilation of the ST. How about the LBO, does it have another, better vent when connected with the Vestibule? Last question regarding the Stove. My main use will be backpacking, so i am on the move pretty much every day, therefore weight is really important. The Cub U-turn would be perfect, when only weight count's but on the other side i don't like the idea of cutting wood like a beaver and feeding the stove every 20-30min. The next best thing would be the medium u-turn, which, according to SO, can be run in the ST and LBO. Even better for wood prep and burn times would be the u-turn Large which is only 3oz heavier then the medium but SO does not recommend using a Large in the ST or LBO. Has anybody used a large in one of those shelter? Hope some of you guys can help me with my decision which shelter/stove combo to buy. Thanks

Having had the silvertip and two cimarrons would recommend cimarron lite, weight the same much easier pitch mucho room, only benefit to silvertip was the size footprint other wise cimarron blows it away🤙

Thanks for the input Ross. I also looked at the cimaron light, but it's another 7 oz heavier then LBO and Silvertip and i don't really need that much room, but without any question a really nice shelter. Coming from the MLD Duomid in Cuben i don't rally want more weight then that of the ST or LBO, its already much heavier.

LBO + the options for it offer a wide range of uses.

Cimarron is pretty nice.

good size comparison for silvertip vs Cimarron here:

Just seeing this now. In case there's still questions on size my 2 cents are:

If your running a stove your gonna want some buffer space around it so you don't melt your gear, for me that means I'm dropping a "man" off the size rating, plus if you keep packs inside and spread out your gear that's another "man."

I consider my cimarron a 2 man and stove tent and redcliff will take 2-4 with stove if you like to stand up (I do). Sometimes I'll just bring the bigger shelter because the extra elbow room is nice

Hope that helps
