I'm looking very hard at the Seek Outside Revolution/Precipice to replace my Eberlestock Warhammer (Otherwise known as "The Dirty Name" in my household) and would like to hear from anyone who has run this in the field. It has been out for about a year, so I'm hoping that some people have had a chance to use it and offer some pros and cons about it. Particularly, I'd like to know how it does packing quarters between the suspension and bag. As I understand, the Revolution suspension allows for that with any bag mounted to it. I'm familiar with the Revolution/Fortress due to a friend that hunts with one, but I like the external pockets on the Precipice for my spotter, tripod and poles. It also looks like I can get some meat in between the pockets on the front of the pack if I compress/strap correctly. I plan on giving Seek Outside a call, but thought I'd get some real-world feedback as well. Thanks in advance.

You might want to give us a call. We have something new in the pipeline that may work really well for what you desire (Spotter / Tripod / Pockets etc). It's a big, big, volume pack

How big Kevin? I'm planning on taking my Unaweep Fortress 6300 on a Denali summit attempt but would be interested in alternatives.

Denali nice, sort of jealous. Honestly I have not cubed it out yet, but bigger than 6300 plus talon for sure. Probably closer to 8000 - 8500 with the way to add a bit more volume if needed. It is really optimized for the best big volume carriage we can do. You can come by our place of business and maybe see a couple samples if need be. I can't say anymore at the moment.

Thanks Kevin! Back to Denali in Spring of 2018 so I'm in no immediate hurry. . . That leaves you plenty of time to plan and prepare if you want to come! I did it in 94 as a much younger man and have wanted to do it unguided ever since. I will try and make it to the shop to get a sneak peek when I'm in the neighborhood.

Thanks for sharing this info.

Thanks, Kevin. I'll call next week. I was ready to pull the trigger on a Precipice, but I'd like to hear more about the new one. Sounds like a beast.

I should have some testing photos in the next 2 weeks, and some photos are already around (but not fully loaded or close up). I'll be out for a few days in the desert with it.

I have a precipice 7000. And it's huge!!!
I wish I would have got the 5800. But I guess its always good to have the extra space if needed.

The bags are x Pac material and wash out super quick and easy. Its easiest to throw meat inside the pack. If you pack between the frame and bag you'll need to loosen some straps up top or unbuckle the bag attachments then cinch the lowest bottom one down so the load stays higher and then slide in the quarter or meat then compress the bag back against the frame.
With a talon or preregrine you can haul loads a lot of ways.
There is no more comfortable frame out there with light or heavy loads.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate the photos too. It certainly looks like it can handle the weight.

I too have a precipe 7000. The build quality is fantastic and it is a tank, the material is VERY rugged. I used it for about 14 days this past season and it handled snow, rain, and my overall lack of coordination when exhausted. I can't recommend this enough, but make sure you get the talon with it!
