Suppressor on tikka roughtech

The Ember roughtechs are M15x1 while others are 5/8 so you have to be careful on a few
Has that always been the case? Because I unscrewed the factory radial brake off a 300WM roughtech ember and spun it onto my .308 Ruger American which was for sure 5/8 X 24. Shot it all day and then spun it back in the Tikka.

im not sure when, but all of the ones lately have been the m15, especially the ones that were on sale from eurooptic

Thats interesting. The Win that im talking about came from Scheels in Billings in 2021.

Yeah I didnt realized it until my buddy bought one last year off eurooptic and was having issues. Found the thread adapter in the rifle box which prompted some research.

I bought a m15x1 hub adapter from anechoic suppressors to put on my 20” roughtech. Works great, and I don’t have to deal with the ugly thread adapter that comes with the tikka. If I was to use the adapter that came with the gun, I would get a OTB can and leave the can permanently on it. Going the hub route it’s pretty easy for me to switch between cans and guns.
