Hey Everyone. The Guardian 2.0 is now available for presale. I have attached an overview video below but wanted to provide a little more info on what has changed so here it is!
New Features:
- No more Zipperless. This one was based on alot of feedback. The zipperless system is sweet but requires you to crawl into the shelter. When the tent had condensation, your clothes would get wet. We added 2 zippers to the same side which allows for easier entry, with the added benefit of being able to pitch the center panel up into an awning. Pretty sweet for glassing first thing in the morning.
- Upgraded Vestibule area. The new vestibule is pretty similar size wise, but the angles make it so that you can put a larger stove inside (large u-turn or standard). We also put a peak vent in there for increased airflow. With the doors how they are, you can open up the whole front side of the shelter.
- Size. It is smaller in terms of square footage but just like the Brightwater 1p, the new shape actually feels bigger inside.
- Nest. Nest will be slightly differnt but not by a whole lot. Both the tent and nest are lighter by a couple of ounces.
- Color. It is now only available in our classic O.D. green instead of the sage.
With summer coming up, we should be able to have the first tents shipping around the end of May!
Silex 2.0 is coming in the next two weeks, which has some serious upgrades in my opinion.
