Hey Folks, I just wanted to share some info on our all new floor system. As of right now it is available for 6 and 8 person tipis as well as the Guardian and Twilight. These floors incorporate a low liner system to block drafts and protect your sleeping bag from bumping into condensation build up. The new floor system is also fully compatible with a stove when you use our kevlar stove mat. The stove mat allows you to keep the shelter fully enclosed to keep ticks and critters out while using the stove, making them great for the upcoming spring bear season. We will have more coming for other shelters soon.

Check out the youtube video for a quick overview.

No date quite yet. Probably late spring. Definitely in time for next big game season. Not sure on weight yet as we are working the kinks out on a few things.

Right now I currently have no tent.
Everytime I’ve been somewhere or needed one I’ve used a friend’s.
Ready to acquire my own.

Most of the Seek tents have a sod cloth sewn to the bottom, but a few do not.

The floor/low liner system by itself would mean a snake has to crawl under the staked-down tent, stop before it starts to crawl under the floor system, and go up the tent wall in between the liner. Possible, but maybe not too likely?

On the tents with a sew on sod cloth (Seek might call it a sod skirt or wind skirt) the snake woudl need to go under the tent and several inches past the sod cloth, which might take it under the floor, then up, then back towards the wall, then up in between the liner and the wall. Less possible?

Will you be coming out with a floor system for the Cimarron like the 6-man and 8-man or only the footprint that is currently on the website?
