Anyone have any experience with one? Considering selling my SO Large stove for a Cub. The Cub is 18oz and the Large is 35 oz. That's over a pound of weight savings. This would be used with a Cimmeron tent. I bought the large thinking I would cook on it, but I will be hunting in Grizzly country so cooking in the tent isn't advisable. The stove will be there just to warm up and dry off at the start and end of the day.

I know there will be slightly more wood prep due to the smaller size, and the fire won't last as long, but I am not trying to keep this thing going all night. Both myself and my partner have very capable sleep systems stove or not.

Any comments or experiences?

I do and this little thing is awesome,i was impressed how much heat it was throwing at me in my tigoat 6.75.Exactly what you said, more wood prep but the weight saving is positive.I have to pipes, one 8' for my tigoat and one shorter for my Paratarp. On the pictures there is a kifaru medium stove snow platform who fit perfectly in the SO stove bag,i use it only for winter.

Reaper thanks for the great post! Just the info I was looking for. Looks like the cub will suit my needs better than the large.
