Like it says, we got about .15" to .2" of ice Thursday morning to wake to, nothing damaging but it did catch my wife by surprise when she left the dog out first thing @ 6:58 that morning.
She was ok fortunately, but by 7pm she couldn't put any weight on her left foot and decided to go have it checked. Just a strain and bruised which was very fortunate, God definitely was looking out for her. By Friday she was pretty sore, but went to supper Fri. night.
Then Saturday we got round 2, a little better this time as it started out with .1" of sleet, then .1" ice over that, not near as slippery or dangerous as Thursday's. But still not ideal for load development with the new 257 AI LR Varmint rifle.

Pretty happy with my first trip to the range with H4350 and 88 grn Bibs HPBT's had three more 1/2 grain hotter loaded, but somehow forgot the primers>>?? I'll be back out as soon as the weather gets a little more accommodating, and got plenty of time before the beans sprout. Till then I'll tend to other priorities, keeping us safe around the yard.![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
But I got other Varmint rifles to keep in the rotation right off the back deck! Yep, my yard Vermin riggs. Top to bottom on the wall are the HW30s and HW50s with a very special Beeman R10 on the bottom Super Tuned by John Thomas, all 177's. Then below a couple laminated stocked 22's a 54D Diana and a HW77K S.E. with beech HW77K in 177, all Super Tuned by me with Vortek H.O. spring kits and seals.

Ya no suck and blow equipment needed, just a tin a lead, and cock and shoot, my way of efficient control of home pest, out to 100 yards I got one for any situation, and a few fer most. But the main thing is, I've always got a rifle for any need in the situations if find myself involved with.
