Hey I bought a 5rd flush Duramag for the Ruger Gen2 223 and there's a good bit more room for the 73's compared to the factory 10rd mag. You may try your 75's in there.Squeaks by. I’ll have to grab some or make a trade for someone wanting 75s
I emailed Dura-Mag and they said the flush fit mags were 2.346 OAL.Hey I bought a 5rd flush Duramag for the Ruger Gen2 223 and there's a good bit more room for the 73's compared to the factory 10rd mag. You may try your 75's in there.
Interesting, I’ll have to reach out to Ruger and quote the gen2 conversion this would be nice to haveHey I bought a 5rd flush Duramag for the Ruger Gen2 223 and there's a good bit more room for the 73's compared to the factory 10rd mag. You may try your 75's in there.
She was shooting 150gr projectiles because that's all her rifle would shoot well. I tried some 180's and it was minute of basketball, it was bad. Shot the 150's great though. Rifle is 8 lbs 13 oz so not terribly light.I didn’t see where you mentioned what bullet your wife is shooting in the .308. A lighter .308 can have significant recoil with 165 and 180 grain bullets. Have you considered the 130 TTSX or a similar mono? It basically matches .270 Win ballistics and would be effective inside your 300 yard limit. I dropped my wife down to 120 NBTs and the 120 TTSX in her 7mm-08 and the groups shrunk accordingly.
