Same here. Going with a couple cousins. First time really backpack DIY for all of us. Should be interesting. Do you know which unit you are going to?

2019 was my first DIY OTC wilderness archery elk hunt in Colorado.. I got around them a couple of times but couldn't get the wind right. Its been on my everyday since and I definitely plan to go again this year. I wish I had gotten started sooner as I'm now 60.

2019 was my first archery season. I'm hooked! I used to think it would get in the way of salmon season, but starting to think I had it all backwards...
