Season - 2020

This year will be my first hardcore season since I started when I was about 16. Finally graduated college so I’m taking half of August and all of September to try and get a bull down in CO. Then I’ll be headed back to Oklahoma for Whitetail in November and hopefully get on a few in Texas hill country.

Taking my kid on a September bear hunt. Hoping to put a bear on the ground early and then head west to chase bugles.

Planning my first Elk bow hunt, joining a group of experienced Elk hunters. I feel pretty lucky for that. It looks like we're gonna try to draw Montana. If no luck there, we'll OTC Colorado in an area they're familiar with. Either way, I'm excited to get in the mountains.

This will be my first year as well. Planning on OTC counter in Colorado. Been researching for almost a year and still working on picking a unit.

I pulled the trigger on an Idaho archery tag already, it'll be my first hunting trip out west so I'm pretty stoked.

Was out in Western Colorado last year for the first trip after the big elky. Giving it another go this year.

Amazing hunt lists on here. I'm walking on one good leg and my hunting partner uses bionic right foot, since he lost his leg just below the knee. We're both near 60. Still we were able to do a walk in only antelope hunt in WY last year and plan to do it again this year. We both can ride bikes, so that has opened up some possibilities. Here is my dream list, much of which I know I will be able to accomplish already, with a few "hope to" hunts thrown in:

Winter squirrel and rabbit (already successful and ongoing)
Spring turkey
Fall dove and quail
Aug-Jan 1 local whitetail season
Ducks for first time!
AZ Coues deer
WY antelope

2020 will be heading back to Nebraska for mule deer and antelope. I should draw a Iowa tag, and hoping for Idaho bear/wolf if my wife lets me bid high enough at the SCI banquet

2019 my 13 year old daughter killed her first elk I am going to try like heck to get her 12 year old sister to get her first elk in 2020.
