Seam Sealing

How important is it to get seam sealant in between the tarp and the extra flap of material that runs beside the seam? I have sealed the seams and plant to interior and exterior but sealing the redcliff is taking more sealer than expected and is also pretty time consuming trying to figure out how critical this is befor going back and doing all these flaps as well. And yes I d want it it completely waterproofed.

It's the holes created at the seam when it's sewn you need to worry about- If you are getting those I think you are solid.

It's an easy, quick and simple process. Did mine in no time. LOL

How exactly are you doing it, it does suck to do, but I don't think it too more than an hour to do my sawtooth and the redcliff is bigger I know but not that much.

Good timing. I am also seam sealing a Redcliff yesterday/today and was wondering the same thing. I ended up just putting it on top of the seam and not worrying about getting it under the flap.
