Thought I would throw this out to the Rokslide crowd....

My wife and I had been talking about purchasing a boat or camper in the near future, then Covid hit. We put those plans on hold for a few months and then decided to go the camper route. I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton with that stupid extra short bed. I did some research and the used RV market was absolutely ridiculous, so we started looking at new ones. The SCOUT brand caught our eye as its designed for lighter duty trucks like the one I have. Anyway, fast-forward to now. This thing is going to be PERFECT for hunting/fishing season. It weighs 1300# dry, I put airbags on my truck and you barely notice it when driving. They are new and there isn't alot out there, I'm putting this up so if anyone is in the market, I can answer any specific questions you have.

We purchased the Olympic Model

@Brock A how are you liking your Scout?
Any advice for someone just starting to look?
We have since sold the Scout. We were able to find a permanent Park Model at the main place we stayed at with the camper for hunting season and summer time. We decided that we were better off selling the Scout since it wasn't going to get used as much as it deserved. I miss it dearly. I would buy another in a heartbeat. It is so perfect for hunting.
