I figure there are a few Scotch snobs on here which is a compliment

I'm getting a flavor profile that I'm enjoying and I would love recommendations that might be similar. I broke them down into tiers.

Top Tier (favorite): Balvenie 12 Doublewood, Auchentoshan Three Wood, Dalmore 15, Lagavulin 16.
Middle Tier: Glenfiddich 12, Macallan 12 Sherry Cask.
Lower Tier (could do without): Laphroaig 10, Highland Park 12.
JW Gold Label is a good blend IMO.
Subcategory: Balvenie 14 Caribbean Cask is good but not surprising I like Rum.

Haven’t had the 10yo, but a friend said it was a bit rough. I didn’t get that at all from the 12 port finished.

I don't mind a little peat but not a huge fan. I can tolerate it more if the smokey peat aroma is more subtle. Lagavulin 16.

Laphroaig 10 was the first scotch I tried so I'll always have on one hand. Good memories!

Being a 30 year I'm sure that one is out of my price point.

Kept that one under lock and key, really. That was my sipping drink. For effect, I went with Chivas Regal on the rocks.

I'm an Oban 14 fan.

Highly suggest you avoid the Oban at all costs. Kinda like looking through swaro glass if you know what I mean. All others will be rated against it, if not suck.
