My son is wanting a more precision bolt gun rather than his 10/22 for squirrel hunting. I plan on getting a CZ 475 but I can't decide on the scope needed to keep the gun nimble enough to carry through the woods. I'm contemplating a fixed 4x optic but we've always shot variable power scopes. I'm open to any suggestions from the group.

Mine is wearing a 5-25 PST II, its more of a bench gunt but would be great for the squirrels well.

I happened to have it on a creed which was replaced by a Trig.

FWIW, I've performed a tall target test with numerous scopes and the vortex did the absolute best from 0-30 moa and back to 0.

Slick I made the mistake of looking at that picture before reading the content and had my head turned sideways trying to figure out what kind of rig you were shooting. :ROFLMAO:
