Be getting the trijiicon Huron 2.5-10x40 for the ridgeline. Now here’s my inquiry, from what I understand, the 30mm being a larger tube is slightly more durable (going on 300wm) allows for more adjustment (which I won’t need) , and in theory allows for more light.
I also believe, that the 1” tube models let in more light already than your eyes can use, if that makes sense. So is the 30mm tube worth it? I do like the power variable of 2.5-10 vs 3-9 but again, in reality am I going to notice .5 magnification.
My hunting is done on the east coast and my furthest shots taken were out to 350.
So why a 30 mm tube over a 1” tube?
