Scope rings made for specific rifles

I don’t like the look of a rail on my bolt action rifles. Securing a scope ring to a rifle with screws through the ring into the rifle itself also seems more secure to me then doing that with a rail, then attaching the rings to said rail (more moving parts more failure points). Almost all of my bolt rifles have leupold rings because I can buy them for each specific gun, but those back country rings seem to be discontinued and are getting harder to find. The only other style like that, that I know about, are talley’s and I have heard terrible things about that brand.
What are some others you know about that I could look into? Thanks!

I really like the one-piece mount from Exterra Precision, but I’m a little biased :)

You've heard terrible things about Talley?
One of my X-bolts has them, it eliminates the rail as you described, works well and appears of high quality.
I have no actual experience with them so I can’t say for certain, but I have heard a few stories from other guys of them breaking or losing zero. The losing zero could be a scope thing as well, just things I’ve heard that have made me wasn’t to steer clear.
