Nrl/prs youre 99% going to want to switch to mils at some point, and FFP is a must-have. My recommendation would be to get a mil scope for that reason, it’ll be way easier to share dope and spot for each other with people you squad with. Most of the scopes in question are going to focus close enough. Athlon is popular, some dont hold zero with rough handling but they track well and consistently and will not hold you back on the range. Ditto with vortex pst g2. Trijicon tenmile is a good choice. For 22 prs you need a lot of scope travel, youre going to want a 20-30moa rail AND a scope with a good amount of travel, as you’ll want to be able to dial over 20 mils of elevation. 99% of what I see at 22 matches is the exact same scopes you see at centerfire prs matches.

I’ll agree that most people will be shooting mils, but I’ve shot for the last 5 years using MOA and it’s not the reason I lose.

Mils will help if you want to utilize drops that aren’t specific to your rifle and ammo, as well as bad wind calls from other shooters.

Shooting MOA you won’t really have this problem because you’ll probably be the only there that is using it. 😁

I get it but all of my rifles are scoped in MOA. I’m not really interested in changing them all nor do I want to try to utilize two different systems. I can almost guarantee that’ll end with a massive screw up at the most inopportune time.

Mine are MOA as well. My post was from experience. 😁

Basically any match we go to my wife and I are the only ones using MOA.

I’d agree re going MIL. Not clear on your budget but NF makes great glass that will last / take a beating.
