Scope power for coyote rifle?

I seem to like 4 power for rabbits, foxes which I'm guessing is like a coyote I'd say a 4-16

30MM tube, up to 15X, never needed the 15X, never seem to get time to increase the magnification.

Being new for 2021 I don't have a ton of field time with them yet, but the 2-12 has a "donut of death" type reticle that makes it pretty easy to see on 2x, and if it were to be a problem the illumination solves all of that.

I dig on the reticle, but I like having a vertical subtension line coming in from the top of FOV as well, myself personally.
