How do you all level your scopes when you mount them?
I usually level out the rifle on a tripod then put a level on top the elevation turret then level that out and torque it down. But I've noticed sometimes that didn't always work.

My buddy who's a helluva PRS shooting though was telling me about leveling the scope to gravity. Using a plum bob and shining a flash light through the objective lense. Like the vortex movie on YouTube.

What's the Rokslide approved method?

I'm not sure there is a "rokslide approved" method but there has sure been a lot of posts about it.

What matters is that the scope is plumb to gravity when you're shooting. Work on getting it close to plumb with the bore but more importantly get it plumb with gravity when your scope level indicates level.

I use a level that clamps to the pic rail and another level atop the turret. I then check it with a tall target test- loosening the rings, slightly twisting the scope, and retorquing if and as necessary.
