I reached out to a bunch of my reps (figured they can give their best advice) and these are the replies I received:
Swarovski:
Swarovski Optik Z3 3-10x42 - BRH #59016
Hawke:
"We have a ton of options in mil dot that will work for that. Pretty much anything in the Vantage or Vantage IR line depending on the magnification he wants and whether or not he wants illumination."
Athlon:
Argos BTR 6-24x50 is the first recommendation.

P4Xi 4-16x56 SCR
Sig:
The tango 4 or tango 6 series is probably beat option depending on his price point
