Scope covers SE AK rain?

Have hunted mainly dry areas so I don’t currently use scope covers. Trip coming up to AK where .5-1.5” of rain each day is expected.

Hunting blacktail in thicker stuff with small openings. Anyone use those clear see through covers? I’m thinking of those is case I jump one and don’t have time to remove the cover

I posted something similar in the blacktail forum, got a lot of good responses that might be helpful. Worth your time to read through.

These aren’t going to do you any good this coming season, but they’ll be the answer for next season and beyond.

Get some Voretex or Butler Creeks this season, tape them if necessary, and to have a good hunt!

Will they reliably keep out moisture? I like the looks, but I didn’t see any mention of moisture protection in the description on the site, and it seems like that would be a pretty key power point if they kept moisture out

They are pretty snazzy

I’ve used a couple sets since the spring. They spent 2 weeks in SE AK, no leaks. They are the only scope caps that I don’t hate.
