He talked for a good length of time. It was well worth the time being there. Wish I had stood in line to get a book signed. They gave away some cool stuff. Vortex optics. New pair of Schnees boots. Like brand new model. Also the very first ever of the new MR model pack. The first one in existence. Women won the boots and pack. I'm guessing husbands weren't happy there.

Sounds like a good event with some nice gear given out. Pretty generous amount of quality gear actually. Thanks for putting the info out there. I wont be up that way until March for some skiing around Big Sky and Bridger.

We drove up for it, packed house and good beer too! What did they say, the raffle brought in ~$9,000 for wsf and bha. I thought that was good for the turn out.

Pretty damn crowded and they ran out of beer early! Not a bad time though. Was cool seeing a lot of the local legends out and about.
