Schnees Divide Or Kestrel? Or?

Hey there, looking for a new boot. I prefer mid height as I have large calves and taller boots cramp my calves up.

Like to find a well built boot to be used from everything from jobsite work to year round hiking/ hunting.

Definitely sold on schnees have had a pair of hunter pacs for over 20 years. Love um.

Open to other suggestions. But am narrowing down to the Divide mid or kestrel.

Love the leather on the divides

Irish setters, danners or tamaracks for a very budget friendly. All light weight in there hunting boots and withstand good terrain I use tamaracks and they have lasted me a good while in Arizona hunts available at sportsman’s warehouse

Irish setters are going to be the lightest of the three I prefer tamaracks for a budget friendly especially for just using a few seasons out of the year , danners and Irish setters will outlive but they are all good I have had 2 pairs of tamaracks within the last 5 years and they were heavily used

So I tried on some crispi’s today. The nevadas and the Colorados. I really like the fact that the Colorado are the stiffness that I like but personally not a fan of the look.

I really like a leather boot, the nevadas were well built but to stiff for my liking.

Anyone tried either of these boots and can compare stiffness to the kestrel or divides from schnees?

Just a follow up if anyone cares.

Ended going with the Schnee Timberline. These things fit amazing right out of the box! Took a 5 mile hike the first day and couldn’t even tell these were new boots!

If you are looking for a lightweight boot that is not super stiff give these a try.
