Schnees boots

Love my beartooths. They proved to be a good boot for just about everything. I need a wide boot for some foot issues and they worked great.

I can say my beartooths were stiff and took many miles to break in. They offer tremendous ankle support and shine on steep sidehilling. I've had mine 5 years, many many miles in rough terrain and they are still 100% waterproof which is a non negotiable with my boots. Its truly amazing at how little wear they show considering what I've put them through. Very satisfied Schnees user.

I ran the Timberline V2 for a couple seasons switched the insole to super feet hike and they were excellent. Taller boot at 9 inches but lightweight. I would choose the Timberline over most Crispi models because it has a wider toe box.

Beartooths were the first boots that really fit my feet well, on my 4th pair now.

They are waterproof for about 3-4 seasons, so I get a new pair when they start leaking a bit and use the old ones for upland and early season dry weather.

Great boots

Warms my heart to see all the good beartooth reveiws! I got mine last summer and they have one season on them so far and very satisfied. These are the first 'premium' boot I have ever had and the stiffest and heaviest. They do seem more pliable than they were before the season. I stepped up from a hiking boot to give my foot a more firm footbed on steep climbs, and to just get a more robust boot. I do miss the lightweight of a hiker but love the taller waterproof capability and the increased toe comfort on a steep climb.
