Apologies for two threads in the optics section but I am really interested in an S&B Polar after seeing it suggested in my "forever scope" thread below.
I cannot for the life of me figure out the difference between their turrets. I would love an uncluttered basic duplex (ideally with wind marks) illuminated dot and some kind of BDC turrets. There are couple pictures on Eurooptic that show turrets with multiple little grey bits that appear to be similar to the Swarovski system of pre set distances? (Posicon?) They also have what they call BDC (and BDCII) which appears to be a single resettable stop similar to a zero stop but can be programmed for anywhere on the elevation dial?
Just not sure how much to trust advertising photos on a website in terms of what you'll actually receive. Can't find anything on S&Bs website. Is there a US based vendor you could recommend I call and chat with? Thanks so much all.
