Now it was my turn…Headed out this morning and found elk - lots of them - to the tune of at least 450-500 scattered across the desert in 2 distinct herds.
Stalked within 365 yards of this cow on the edge of the herd - the 150 scenar out of the old tikka 7 mag, crushed her scapula, tore up the insides and exited out the other side. She went 10 feet and died.
Our family finished the year with 3 deer and 3 elk - was a good year.

. I had to investigate that also...I was thinking some sort of Medieval spear. Appears to be using the name of your bullet in a slang verb form...glad I switched to Hammer bullets if this becomes the norm...would feel a little silly if I had to post I eld-x'd something!
