Faith02 is a scammer
Replied to my WTB add for a Leupold VX5hd 2-10x42. Said he had one a year and a half old and wanted $380 for it, obviously instant red flags.
Sent me pics and then I found the same pics from a 24hourcampfire add from 2018. Even photoshoped a piece of paper with todays date and my phone number on it.

Good catch. If you are going to place WTB ads you better know every trick in the book at spotting the scammers.

Usually just the prospect of a call ends it…

Don’t let that be your only criteria. Long time member’s accounts on other sites like 24hcf and accurateshooter have been hacked and used to scam in the classifieds. As mentioned above, take the time and effort to make a voice phone call with the “seller”. You can learn alot and maybe save some scratch in the process.

This happened to me not long ago on here... WKR was hacked and I was out a hundo. Sent as F&F but still used my CC so at least I was reimbursed.

you can pay f&f and still choose your cc, you just pay the fee instead of seller. They are none the wiser

Yeah, I'd rather have Paypal do the legwork than me hounding my CC bank. Been down both roads and Paypal is easier to deal with. Plus them knowing you paid G&S helps keeps the seller honest making sure you get what was agreed upon.
