Sorry to hear about this guy. Candidly, this is why I have ended up donating gear instead of tryomg to sell it and why I buy new stuff instead of through classifieds. I just don’t have the time to deal with a scam nor the inherent trust necessary to transact. This reinforces my general apprehension.

Yeah, after I busted him and described what I thought of him, he threatened me stating he had my address and I better watch my back.

Somehow I don’t see him incurring the expense of traveling to my house when he’s robbing people of money!

Perfect! Tell him to come on over and you'll leave the light on for him (it's a lot easier to hit a target when you have good lighting).

Yeah I'm a newbie to rockslide, but not to purchasing stuff on outdoor sites. Always pay the extra fee guys when buying stuff with PayPal, its 2.9% and $.30 for the transaction. So even if you bought a $300 item its only an extra $9.00
Not much to insure your not going to get ripped off by some sleazy bum.
What goes around comes around and someday that bum will pay for it.
