Scam alert and good deal-Nosler

My son and I were in Missoula Murdoch's and got a box of Nosler Accubond LR (100 168gr .308) for $44.

Today I got a Facebook popup for the Nosler factory sale and clicked on it looking for more. Interface looked good, inventory was correct and so I ordered a few more boxes. When I got to the checkout, something didn't look right. Before I entered cc info, I google searched "Nosler Scam" and sure enough, it's BS.
I must say, it's one of the better fraudulent interfaces I've seen.

My boss had me come to his office to see the "crazy deals" he found on Sitka gear... the prices were way too good to be true and somehow the layout of the site looked odd. Looked it up and definite scam.

He's not the sharpest tool but also not a big idiot, it's surprising how easily people are blinded by great pricing and miss the obvious "strangeness" of it. Good thing you caught it!

The scammers are getting better at faking legit stuff. FB also doesn’t seem to care whatsoever about scams - I have to keep the father inlaw out of marketplace or he’ll try to buy a $30k tractor for $2k.

I came across two ads on Facebook in their video section One for Sika one for kuiu. Both were showing some outlandish prices, like eight dollars for a puffy jacket. The video even shows some random person walking into the kuiu showroom. When you click on it, it took you to a copycat page. Everything was priced like it was 1940. Reported both of them to Facebook with a few details as they allow you to fill out, both were rejected, and I contested both of those that still came back rejected. I emailed kuiu with a link to it and the video was gone a few days later, at least fb listens to a business?

I’m sure there are just as many scams face to face as there are online.

You are missing out on many real deals. I’m not suggesting blind faith, but there are plenty of legitimate online sellers, and paying with a credit card provides some protection.

I've reported literal hardcore porn on FB and my report was rejected.
