Scale calibration weight

What brand specifically or where do I get a good F1 class 100g weight? The reviews for the one on Amazon looked bad. The YouTube I watched said to order the one on eBay.

So where do I get a good one to calibrate my fx120i?

I do have one that came with my Rcbs triple beam. But not sure if that is accurate

How accurate do you need to be? NIST traceable standards are available.

I mean I guess you guys tell me scale has the ability to weigh kernels. Be nice to know it’s pretty dang close. I’m aware in the grand scheme of things a little off is fine. But….

A good one? A Rice Lake dealer can get you an individual 100g weight in any class you want. But they aren’t cheap.

This isn't analytical chemistry. Find someone with a calibrated laboratory balance and check your standards.

RCBS and I calibrate the beam scale to charge weight.

You don’t need powder scales to be spot on, just repeatable because you work up loads to what works.

Weigh a bullet and write the weight on it, this becomes your check weight

And be sure to subtract the weight of the ink.

A link for a place that sells weights in different classes with or without Certificate. Depends on how good of a weight you want. I use class f for the small beam scales We use at my work. But you can buy a set or individual weight once you select what class you want.
