Savage recently updated their webpage and there are a couple of new chamberings that are listed, 22 ARC & 22 Creedmoor….and 25 Creedmoor as well, if that’s of interest.

FWIW I had the V1 in 6.5 - Great rifle. Shot well under MOA.

I know a lot of them shot well, at one point I had one of the ultra lights or whatever it was called with the 20" barrel. for the money it was an ok gun but the fit and finish just left me wanting more, I also don't like the magazines. I sold that gun to a friend who has put it to good use but it just never grew on me. Other than that, I've just handled different savage rifles people I know have and they all remind me of the one I had and why I got rid of it.

Not all are bad. I picked up a model 12, before the price increase .
It continues to exceed expectations and one of the best shooting guns I own.

Friends don’t let friends buy Savage. A lot of them are shooters, and a lot of them really really are not shooters. I’d buy something with better QC

When you think of Savage rifles, the $300 Walmart special, is probably what comes to mind.
But they have offerings beyond entry level, as the OP posted. That model 12 below is a lights out shooter.
I rolled the dice on it, because it was the only thing available in the caliber I wanted.
At the time it was only $589, looking back, it was a steal.
If you're in the market, they are worth a look.
