It is risky buy, It may turn out fine or maybe not and you will pregret not buying a new one and be done with it

Im going to try another scale when I get it home. It was a digital scale at the shop. The owner wanted to weigh it, so I obliged. Probably be right at 8.5 pounds when it's ready to go.

I'm looking at 7.58 fully dressed based on weight of all individual components.

Went and looked at the gun. Pretty scratched up from sitting on the shelf and getting banged up from the bolts of adjacent guns.

Looks worse than my hunting rifle that I've used for 11 years.

They are going to check into options. They are going to try and get the gun NIB from savage...same price.

They offered an additional 5% off but I just wasn't feeling it. So I have ammo but no gun. I called the other store and they don't have any in stock nor anywhere else.

I’ve been looking at these for a while. There’s a few other threads on RS I’ve been reading. Just ordered one myself and a stockys and a pic rail. Thanks for helping me spend more money.
