Savage 16 - Does Savage still offer this model?

I am selling a Savage Model 16 to a co-worker and was looking to see what a new rifle would cost him. After a quick search I couldn’t find a new one for sale. Anyone know if these are still produced?

I don't believe they make them anymore but they are a $679 rifle when they were new. They might make a Model 116 which I believe is the same exact rifle.

A few years ago savage streamlined their model numbers to all be 110. So technically they still make the equivalent:

110 Storm | Deer Hunting Rifle | Left Hand | Savage Arms

Agreed. 16 was a stainless short action. That would now be a 110 Storm, which can be long or short action depending on cartridge.
