Hi, does anyone on here know what the Savage 110 factory stocks like the one pictured here weigh? It’s the Carbon Hunter, Core, Ridge, etc stock. Pretty much the current one on all the 110s I think. Thinking about buying a carbon hunter and putting a lighter stock on it if one exists.

Thanks in advance.

If it's got the aluminum bedding, it'll be at least 32 oz, probably more. The non bedding block stocks are usually a few ounces lighter. I'm basing this on the old style stocks, that new on probably weighs more across the board.

The quick answer is heavy.

2 things:

1 as stated above, some have the aluminum bedding(called accustock), some dont, the website will show

2 all of those new stocks have the adjustable LOP, not all have the adjustable comb, adjustable comb adds a bit more weight but they all have the black comb so they look the same

A little glossary for Savage:
Accutrigger = adjustable trigger with blade "safety"
Accustock = aluminum bedding
Accufit = replaceable LOP & comb, requires a philips screwdriver
Accufit V2 = tool-less adjustable LOP & comb & interchangeable grip
Adjustable LOP(as shown in 1st screenshot with white tab behind the grip) = tool-less LOP adjustment

"Pro" models have camo stock, 20MOA rail, and cerakoted bolt, receiver, barrel. I think this applies to Axis and 110.

IDK the weight of the stock but im trying to see if I can reverse the math:

Trail Blazer 243 20" (Heavy Sporter threaded straight) 7.13# Adjustable LOP
Core Hunter 243 20" (Heavy Sporter threaded straight) 7.73# Accufit V2/Accustock
Core Hunter Pro 243 20" (Heavy Sporter threaded spiral) 7.76# Accufit V2/Accustock
Carbon Hunter 6.5PRC 20" (Bull) 6.77# Adjustable LOP
Ultralite Pro 6.5 PRC 20" skeletonized Receiver (Sendero Lite) 6.78# Accufit V2
Ultralite Predator 6.5C 22" (Sendero Lite) 7.74# Accufit V2/Accustock
Core Predator 6.5C 22" (Medium straight) 8.86# Accufit V2/Accustock
Core Tactical 6.5C 24" (Medium straight) 9.16# Accufit V2/Accustock
Core Tactical 6.5C 20" (Medium straight) 8.56# Accufit V2/Accustock
So doing some math:

The Accufit V2 & Accustock(CORE Hunter vs Trail Blazer) adds about .6#
Trail Blazer vs Carbon Hunter is about .36# for the barrel
Predator vs Ultralite Predator is about 1.12# for the barrel
Tactical 20 vs Predator 22 = .3#(.15#/inch of barrel)
Predator 22 vs Tactical 24 = .3#(.15#/inch of barrel)

Damnit, I give up. They dont give us enough to work it out. Barrel length and cartridge availability between models is not consistent enough. Sorry, thats alot of flailing around for nothing.

Seems like they have set themselves up for headaches. Between the Predator and Tactical they have 3 different barrel lengths in 6.5C with the same contour(20, 22, 24). And i believe the only other difference is the stock and cerakote color.

Bottom line, I am hoping these will fit any existing stock, if so then there are definitely lighter options out there. It seems this is the case because there is the Ultralite Elite V2 in the MDT HNT26 chassis at just 5.8#

Carbon Hunter + HNT26 would probably be real close to UL Elite V2 for ALOT less $
