Hey guys, my wife and I will be in Salt Lake City the first week of April. We’d appreciate any local restaurant recommendations as well as any “must-see” suggestions while we’re in the area.
Thank you in advance!

Didnt think about it being conference that time of the year.First weekend in April will be very crowded in SLC and Temple Square. Easter and General Conference weekend for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
I like Indochine Vietnamese Bistro - rice noodle salad with pork and egg rolls, be sure to put all the fish sauce (nuoc mam) on it and siracha
Otherwise go check out Park City, tons of expensive fine dining there, or La Callie if this is some special trip for you?
lol and thx Corb. The red iguana is decent Mexican food. I have only eaten there once and I don’t remember it being life changing but my wife’s family all swear by it.
Temple Square is worth walking around, even if you’re not a member of their church. Pretty cool history and buildings. They are doing a bunch of construction so it may be a bit of a mess.
Outside of that, the best thing to see of SLC is it getting smaller in your rear view mirror.
