Salsa & Hot Sauce!

I'm a salsa junkie. We used to get this amazing mango habanero salsa, but nobody carries it anymore. Haven't found anything else that hits the spot.

What are some of your favorites? (might as well throw hot sauce in the mix as well)

Blair at https://deathsauce.com/ had a restaurant in my town before he started deathsauce.com where if you were able to eat 3 of his buffalo wings you got your meal for free. The crazy thing is that the sauce he makes that was that recipe is now one of his more mild sauces. He makes great flavors and not just hot stuff. My favorite is the original death sauce.

Another local sauce company has a similar flavor profile https://borntohula.com/ Reaper of sorrow and Ghost of Ancho are both very good.

I see a lot of people mention Cholula as good. To me it may be the worst tasting hot sauce I have ever tried.

Chiming back in to add El Gallo jalapeno salsa to the list. Comes in a plastic bag with a pour spout and it's my go to for anything involving eggs.

once you leave Texas and New Mexico driving north the food just gets worse and worse , and mountain house/ freeze dried stuff is nothing special
