Quick review on the Ti Pro 1 ST from Salmon River Solutions. This is a four port brake with an outside diameter of .76 and a weight that was verified on my scale at 1.4 ounces. Mounted the self timing brake on a 1/2x28 threaded Tikka Superlite in 300 Win Mag that weighs 7lbs 10oz all up including the brake. We shot the 200 grain ELD Xs in Hornady’s Precision Hunter line and I must say, I was blown away by recoil reduction. I shot the rifle side by side with a Christensen Mesa in 6.5 Creedmoor (7.5lbs scoped) and honestly, I could not tell a difference in recoil between the two. The 300WM with brake had less muzzle jump than the 6.5 Creedmoor and made it so you could shoot the 300WM in a completely relaxed manner. VERY IMPRESSED. Fit and finish is perfect.
