Just wondering what kind of accuracy any of y’all with This gun may be getting in terms of long range? And what do y’all get the best results from in terms of production line ammo?

Production ammo haven't loaded for.
Did mess around with one in the past.

Nosler Brass/210M Primer/Varget/NAB

0.134" off the lands
OACL 2.800"
CBTO 2.171"

42.5gr Varget gave me 0.6-0.8" 5 shot group.
2478-2505fps avg
Not the best load ES/SD wise.

I've played with 3 Finnlights. 270Win, 308 and 243. While they were all decently accurate (sub 3/4 MOA) with factory ammo. They wouldnt be my first choice for LR. I personally found the stocks want to rotate upon recoil and not only increase felt recoil, but make them hard to be consistent. They were all my brother's rifles and he has been scoped so many times with them that he has developed a bad flinch. He used to be a better shooter then me. I can shoot my Kimber Montana 308 much consistently, even though I think the Sako is inherently a more accurate rifle.

I have a 300 WSM Finnlight and love it! It's super light for lugging around the hills. I've only needed 1 shot on all but 1 animal I've harvested with it. For a 30 caliber it hardly even kicks! In fact, I would say my 270 Rem kicks harder. I've shot a number of mtn goat with it (which usually take multiple shots to put down a goat!) and have only needed 1 bullet on each. Also shot a bunch of elk, deer, bighorn, dall sheep, antelope, and black bear. I've been impressed with it's performance. Sako makes a great rifle for relatively cheap.

The syth sako 85 stocks aren't the greatest. Kimber wins in this department stock wise.
The carbonlight stock or even the laminated 85 stocks are actually quite nice and seem to be very stiff.
