Sako Carbon Fiber Barrel

Has anyone had a proof carbon fiber barrel installed on a Sako 75 action? Anything that I need to know?

Deciding if I want to go this route or not.

If I order one, not sure if I'll need the 1.13 or the 1.25.

I have not put a carbon barrel on a Sako 75, but have rebarrelled a couple of them. There is nothing unusual about them.

You'll likely have to have the barrel channel opened in the stock to accept the fat carbon barrel.

The 1.20" or 1.25" barrel is proper for this action to get a good shoulder for the barrel to seat on at the action. The 1.13" is intended for barrel nut installation like on a Savage.
