Built this as the ultimate go-anywhere do anything rifle and it has been fantastic. Shoots the 168 Barnes factory load and the 165 Accubond load under MOA. Rifle weighs 6lb before optics. INCLUDES Talley Lightweights and original SOFT TOUCH Sako stock. Trigger is adjusted to approximately 2.5 pounds. Bolt shroud has been upgraded to a stainless Sako 75 model. Wears a B&T rail under the forend (for a TBAC or Atlas bipod) and has QD-swivel mounts (AKA Flush Cups) in the stock. This is an excellent hunting rifle. $1350 shipped CONUS in a hard gun case. Scope not included, though I would be willing to consider selling it with the rifle.

Yes sir, it’s a great rig. Light, accurate, and weatherproof. I haven’t shot it in a few years, though. It needs a good home where it can be put to use.

Was out for an elk hunt and missed your post until now mpodkolzin. I've shot under 60 rounds of factory ammo (It really liked the 168 Barnes and Federal Premium 165 NAB loads) and shot approximately that many for load development with the 150 and 168 Barnes bullets. I carried it to the field blind on a couple deer hunts in TN so it hasn't been used much at all.

I found a brand-new-in-package factory Sako spare magazine for this rifle in my safe. That’s another $75 worth I’ll throw in with the rifle.

Nice rifle! I have the same rifle but stock in 308 with the same scope and its great, your gun must be very slick with the upgrades

Haha. I know. Pretty much a dream rig at 1/3rd of the cost of a full-blown custom that won’t do anything better. The good ol ‘06 just isn’t flashy, I guess. BTT & feel free to shoot me some offers. Aimpoint PRO/Comp M2/Comp M3 are really the only trades I can think of. Might take a couple thousand 1x fired .45ACP cases (lg primer) as a partial @ $0.05ea. Shoot me whatever trade offers come to mind. You never know...
