Sage grouse under attack

The BHA write up is pretty vague. What parts of the new conservation order do you find objectionable?
It seeks to determine whether current plans, which took a decade to put in place and are working in sage house's favor, are hindering energy production and mineral extraction and sets the stage to undo progress because of profits. That's my understanding of it anyway.

What about the parts that seek to increase range land health by mitigating invasive grasses and wild fire potential, increase control by the states, determine the sage grouse's current range, and set specific population objectives instead of open ended?

I have not thoroughly read through it all yet and I am not a lawyer so I can't speak to all talking points. I can say the states having control is part of the current plan and one of the huge milestones in keeping sage grouse off the endangered species list or federal protected status, because that turns it over to Federal control and the states do a better job of managing wildlife typically. I'm sure there are good parts to the plan but I think the bad parts outweigh the good and what little I read. I will review it more thoroughly when I get time.
