My 4.6" arrives at my ffl on Tuesday. I'm excited. Ready to slug the barrel and order a bullet lube size die for it. This puppy should drop out around 195gr as a flat point and 185gr as a hollow point depending on the alloy.

That's slick looking. Never tried a chest rig before. Wonder how it works on a husky fellow. 6'1" 265lb

I'm 6'1 260-270 (depending if it's hunting season or not lol) and I have no issues at all. Very comfortable for me.

In a marsupial gear bino pack. It rides really good over the pistol.

Over the pistol, as in the pistol is sandwiched between the binos and your chest?

Sheesh, sounds like you’ve had terrible luck with them so I don’t blame you. I’ve had 6 or 7 M&Ps in the past and never had an issue with any of them.

I went through 5 M@P9s, and had problems with all them. That was 10 years ago. QC sucked. All had problems (loose sights, bad finish, bad extractors, broken firing pins, some with horrific accuracy). None would group better than 5” 5 shots from 25 yds, 1 wouldn’t even stay on paper.
That was Gen 1 M&P 9mms, shooting USPSA, over about 15k rounds.
Really appealing design, terrible execution.

Newer guns seem much improved. Their 45s were lasers. Really liked the Shield pistols.

If these 10s shoot like the 45s, AND reliably work with full power hard cast…that would be the ticket for me.

40-220gr underwood
110-180gr fmj
Zero malfunctions or ftf of any kind. Very happy with this pistol

How is the chamber support? Any case bulge with the Underwood?

I compared brass from 180 fmj's 200HC and 220HC and didn't see any bulging or marks at all. Looks like it is supported very well

I realize they are just now shipping, but anyone heard rumors of aftermarket threaded barrels in the works? I'm a "suppress everything" kinda guy....

Got my sight mounted. Hoping to shoot it today or tomorrow

TLR-7a mounted. So far it shoots like a dream. Couple hundred rds through it so far. First mag had 2 failure to feeds and no issues since. That was with 180gr sig until I start up production of my handloads. Enjoying it very much at this point. Need to find a holster now.

I thought these had a thumb safety but I’m not seeing it in the pictures?
