To me, "a true bear gun", isn't the one you left in the truck cause it is too heavy to carry.
The 329 is THE best carrying 44mag period. If a fellow feels under-gunned, then they should step up to a 454, 480, etc.

I’ve never left my redhawk in the car because it was too heavy to carry. You might, I never have.

You probably already have them in hand but I too use the aforementioned 255gr Keith loads from Buffalo Bore in my 329PD.

I like the 305 gr Grizzly cast ammo out of my 329. It's a well designed bullet for deep penetration and wide meplat, and loaded to a modest speed. I have X frame grips on and it's manageable.

Do you have the link to these? I’ve been looking on their site and cannot seem to find them. Apologies if they are right In front of my face
