this post is a little tongue-in-cheek, but not totally.
We owners and staff are very happy with the crowd on Rokslide. I get feedback all the time from people who will only post on Rokslide as they like the crowd, feel welcome, don't get bashed if they post a picture of a two-point, new people/questions always welcome, plus all the great sponsors giving away gear and all the other good things you members bring to the Rok. Thanks everyone.
However, as we've grown, like any company, you attract your haters and we see a few more popping up here. Some are even commissioned haters from other people who hate us. You can "feel" their agenda in the first few lines of their posts; “passive-aggressive” tendencies I think a counselor would call it.
Ryan Avery watches the site pretty close and lots of members PM us if something is amiss. As Ryan, Aron, Darin, and I are super busy outside of Rokslide, plus the hundreds of combined hours per month we put in Rokslide, we don’t have time to fiddle fart with high-maintenance people. So Ryan just bans them. Has actually banned a lot more as of late. He’s probably even axed some people who shouldn’t be, but if they are on the line of PIA, he just hits the kill button. We simply don’t have time for the drama. We want to play with the nice kids.
So thanks to Ryan, you’ve saved us lots of time. And warning to the few (actually very few) people who appear to approach PIA, Ryan will ban you just in the interest of saving me time (Thanks man!)
The rest of you great members, carry on. You’re what makes it all worth it.
