Hey Bro. Why don’t you post a Meme in the meme section if it’s eating at you that bad.

This is a RIP thread and not the place to be rude.

I personally have never listened to Rush for a single minute of my life but understand on a mostly conservative leaning site as this it would be of bad form to immediately post jokes or rude stuff about the guy. Just the same as I don’t run over to Vox or Huff Post and make rude posts about RBG.

You’re not being silenced or cancelled. Robby is simply asking to be nice on the particular thread. It’s not that tough to do.

It was always a pleasant surprise for me to find Rush on the radio, to break up the monotony of a long drive. He was a self made man who died going forward. He will be missed.

I was raised a Rush baby. On road trips and pretty much any random day my dad had Rush on. Hell, my dad had(and still has) the full Rush Limbaugh tie collection. I’ve since moved a little more to the center of the political spectrum so I haven’t listened much lately. Even if I didn’t agree with him as much as I used to, it’ll be odd knowing I can’t tune in to see what he has to say. Such is life I guess.

I was a Rush teenager. Whenever I hear his name it takes me back to riding in the car with my Dad in upstate NY.

I hate to see anyone suffer from cancer and it sucks for his family. However, I am a little confused by the censorship. The guy was divisive. People are going to have different opinions of him. I understand deleting offensive comments, but deleting all "negative" comments seems like silencing folks because they have a different political view than that of the majority on here. Also, this thread has nothing to do with hunting - the guy was a polarizing political figure and people have strongly-held opinions about people like him. Isn't this why you tend to delete political threads in their entirety (rather than just deleting half of the conversation)? Also, the anyone with more than one brain cell comment seems like the kind of name-calling that frequently gets erased.
I know it's not my circus, and pretty sure it's not your circus, so..........
Anywho, Rush was a great American. It will be impossible to fill his seat in the studio.

Before I was old enough to understand politics, and before I even knew who Rush was, I could always recognize his district voice on my dad's radio. Over the last 10 years, it was a daily routine to tune in to his show. Like others have said, "The best friend I never met". He will be greatly missed. Glad he isn't suffering anymore.

Rush was a big part of my life, especially growing up, it’s funny, when I was a little kid I hated listening to talk radio. When I hit high school, he really got me interested in politics.

I always appreciated his positive outlook. Even towards the end. RIP, he will be missed.
