Just picked up a MKII Target bull bbl. Thinking about having it threaded? Or looking for a threaded upper.

These guys cut and thread Ruger pistols and rifles, and their prices are reasonable. I just put a new fiber optic front on my slab side, and I'm gonna hold on modifications for now as it shoots too good free hand. However, when the time comes, I'll probably go with these guys. They were very responsive on email.

I'm glad I came across this thread! Last year I picked up a 22/45 and have a Sparrow22; and I was wondering if this would be a sufficient setup for squirrel and grouse hunting.

For those of you running a red dot, what sort of dot size are you running (moa)? Do you find the finer dots to work better for small game hunting?

I have had better luck with small game with a good handgun scope , so far a Burris 2 x 7 hanggun sxope has worked out fine.
