Haven’t bought a new rifle in a while so why not a new thread, right!
Anyway all this talk of smaller calibers lead me to a 6.5 Grendel. Further reading on RS pointed me to a 6 arc.
Couple things:
In West Virginia we have no sales tax on firearms and ammunition. So maybe I could find it cheaper, tax and or shipping would raise the price. $599.00 at sportsman’s warehouse
West Virginia concealed carry license covers the ATF 4473. So being a constitutional state is great, paying for a CHL has its benefits.
We may not have much. Our gun laws are top shelf!
I need reasonable priced rings for this thing. I have a few scopes in mind already, I will surprise you all later.
Bipod, never had one, how do they mount? Via the front sling swivel ? Any recommendations.
Magazines for this thing?
I did edit the pics a little, stock is darker than shown.
Fit and finish is decent. I checked the stock to barrel, it looks even.
Bolt is ok, I figure through use it will smooth more.
Stock fits well. I know some had issues with its comb and lego like appearance. Meaning you can order add ons for it. Trigger on this one is smooth.
Keep in mind, my “review” comes from I know enough to not shoot my eye out. I am no expert on anything firearms.
The girlfriends make up room always makes the perfect backdrop for new firearms!
Don’t mind my boy Knox, he loves new guns.
